Bulltek has joined the list of companies that have benefited from Speedflow Bulgaria’s web development services. This time around, our team built a new and modern corporate website rooted on a fully personalised WordPress theme.

In short, here are a few elements we would like to highlight after completing this project:

  • New WordPress Theme
  • Fully optimized code
  • Excellent user experience and fast-loading speed

Our client’s wishes to communicate their services to potential customers in a straightforward manner meant that a unique WordPress theme had to be created from scratch.

After shuffling with a few ideas and coming up with a plan, our programmers filled themselves with coffee and began writing line after line of code. The new theme was completed in about 15 days.

This ground-up effort allowed us to realize the full SEO and user-experience potential of the website. As a result, it is strikingly quick and provides an excellent user experience.

In the end, our team’s efforts added up to a personalised, unique and stylish corporate website, which allows Bulltek to extend its presence into the online world and, for us, to another successfully completed project for our portfolio.

Here are a few other key points we touched upon:

  • Functionality as per client’s requirements
  • Intuitive navigation
  • Mobile device optimization

Total time to project completion: 20 days.

Speedflow Bulgaria congratulates FoodLab on their new website https://speedflow.bg/en/laboratory-foodlab-new-website/ https://speedflow.bg/en/laboratory-foodlab-new-website/#respond Mon, 27 May 2019 12:46:17 +0000 https://speedflow.bg/?p=16165

North Macedonian laboratory FoodLab, which specializes in food and beverages check-ups, is the proud owner of a new and modern website made by Speedflow Bulgaria. The laboratory will now have an extra channel to showcase its selection of tests and types of food and beverages tested.

About the project:

For a little bit less conversation—a period of around 20 days—we unfolded a fluid, up-to-date website with the name FoodLab on top. We would like to direct your attention to three aspects of this web development project:

  • Web design
  • Content management system
  • Optimization

After a friendly chat with our clients, we came to the conclusion that the design should be in line with the following:

  • Our client’s mission
  • The language requirements of their target audience
  • Our client’s wishes to have more direct contact with their clients

We selected a blend of dark blue/purple (header), green and white. We also highlighted the North Macedonian text in green—to differentiate from the English one—and left enough white space to make the website look clean and clear.

The overall idea was to underline the laboratory’s mission towards healthier food and beverages.

laboratory Foodlab services screenshot

For this project, we used WordPress. This content management system gives FoodLab admins the freedom to update the inventory of the tests offered and the types of food tested at will. Additionally, FoodLab can choose to create new pages—and fill them with content—without having to rely on professional web developers.

Finally, on the optimization front, our experts dug deep to squeeze every weed out of the code and content. Everything you see on the website is cut down to a minimum size, and as a result, the site is light and fast. This places it in an ideal position to be ranked well in the search engines.

The project’s final brushes

They were accompanied by our prescribed belly tickles and bubbly giggles and followed by a quickly-descending dome of mildly weird conversations. In other words, our team opened a bottle of wine.

That aside, we are delighted to add another successfully completed project to our portfolio.
Congratulations to our friends from FoodLab! We wish them a long and fruitful use of their new website and success in all their future endeavors!

Here is an overview of what we did:

More about FoodLab

FoodLab aims to provide the best-quality tests to ensure the safety and high standard of food and beverages in and around North Macedonia. The laboratory employs professionals with extensive experience in laboratory work and cooperates with accredited laboratories in the region.

It is located in a modern, new building at Boris Trajkovski Street, Skopje.

Why choose Speedflow to build your new website? https://speedflow.bg/en/why-choose-speedflow-for-new-website/ https://speedflow.bg/en/why-choose-speedflow-for-new-website/#respond Mon, 15 Apr 2019 14:14:46 +0000 https://speedflow.bg/?p=15670

So, you have an idea for a website? Choosing the right web developing company to undertake your project can mean the difference between hitting and missing the mark.

This is where we come in. We want to save you the time and money that is usually wasted with the standard “try, fail, try again” approach.
Here is why choosing Speedflow Bulgaria for your next website development project is the best thing you can do for your business:

1. We offer one of the best price-quality ratios out there

Our policy is to evaluate each project separately and adjust our prices according to its size and requirements. While some web developing companies offer to build sites for as little as 200 BGN (100 €), you are hardly guaranteed satisfaction. Our prices reflect the quality that we offer but remain a bargain compared to the competition.

2. Our approach is customer-focused

Here at Speedflow Bulgaria, we believe clear communication is the key to the successful outcome of any project. We only start projects when we understand what our customers want to achieve. This avoids misunderstandings and frustration along the way.

3. Customer-regulated production process

We make sure to check-in with each customer at several key points in the web-development process to assure that the project does not stray from its original trajectory. This means that the customer will have the final say in the design and functionality of their website.

4. We deliver faster than our competition

In today’s competitive environment, most businesses find making a mark impossible without innovative solutions. While we rely on ‘untested methods’ to provide unprecedented quality, we also make sure we have the required solid foundation to get us there. Delivering the finished website faster than our competitors is, thus, one of our main goals.

5. Our team is comprised of experienced specialists

We have put in some mileage together now – about 15 years. The road has taught us a thing or two, but most importantly, we have discovered we enjoy working together. This helps plenty. We have experienced specialists in all aspects of web development – programmers, UX and UI designers, marketing and SEO, copywriters, customer relationship managers, digital marketing specialists, and many others.

6. Rich portfolio showcasing different niche projects

You can find evidence of our conquered peaks in our featured portfolio section. We have successfully completed projects for clients from both Bulgaria and other European countries. Our portfolio of completed projects includes ground-up websites for medical centres, dental clinics, restaurants, private enforcement bodies, online shops, etc.

7. Our designers have a sixth sense about attractive and elegant design

We think attractive, responsive design is the right way to go. In parallel to great design, we make sure website visitor experience is rooted in up-to-date standards in the web development industry and Google.

♿ 8. We take projects in any stage of development

We don’t limit ourselves to ground-up web development. We also undertake old site updates, plug-in creation requests, SEO optimization, development of Android and iOS mobile applications, eCommerce websites development, web design, and custom and server applications. We are proud to have specialists in all the areas we cover.

9. Effective SEO for improved search engine visibility

Our SEO experts have the connections and know-how to eject websites into more favorable positions on the Google ladder. We have the resources to undertake long back-link building campaigns to reach our clients’ goals and have the history to prove it.

⚙ 10. Responsive, conscientious technical support team

Our technical support team is comprised of experienced specialists, which enables them to identify and resolve issues quickly, so any disruption to the workflow of our clients is eliminated in its bud.

Kosher food restaurant Jerusalem is the proud and happy owner of a new and modern website created by our experts here at Speedflow Bulgaria. Apart from more exposure, Jerusalem will now be able to give their customers a more straightforward experience in making reservations and ordering food online.

About the website

In just under a month, our experts fulfilled all our customer’s requirements and goals and developed a website that fits into their offline brand image. Three key points come in focus with this website:

  • The menu section
  • Visual impact
  • The online ordering system

To create the needed positive visual experience, we sent our experienced photographer on location to take pictures of the restaurant’s dishes and interior. We are delighted to have achieved the visual impact our client desired. In fact, the quality is such that we are tempted to try those delicious traditional Israeli dishes ourselves.

We believe that having a structured and clear food menu section is crucial for any restaurant website. Our experts dug deep and designed intuitive navigation which significantly simplifies the process of selecting and online ordering food for customers.

On the technical front, our web development engineers optimized the code and adapted the website for all screen devices as per the latest industry trends and requirements.

We are extremely glad to have added another successful project to our portfolio and to have another satisfied customer.

Here are some key aspects of the site we’d like to highlight:

About Jerusalem restaurant

Opening its doors in 2015, Jerusalem is the first-of-its-kind restaurant for Kosher food in Sofia. It offers an invaluable service to lovers of traditional Israeli food and a comfortable atmosphere.

The restaurant is located in the TZUM shopping center, Sofia, within a walking distance of the Serdica Station.

We would like to kindly thank all participants in the competition for their hard work, efforts and the time spent to help create the unique visual identity of the park.

The official deadline for the submission of the creative projects was December 10. We are truly impressed by the big number of applications received and by each participant’s thoughtful approach to the whole brief. 78 designers took part in the competition, 5 of which were teams of two, making the total number of submitted projects – 110!

The ten-member jury, chaired by Professor Hristina Yancheva Ph.D., undertook the difficult task to choose the best name and logo design among all proposals in the competition. The meeting was held on December 11 at the Rector’s Building of the Agricultural University. The jury comprised of Nata Ellis, Commercial Director of Speedflow Bulgaria, Vlad Ellis, CEO of Speedflow Bulgaria, habilitated lecturers on Botany, graphic design experts, students and volunteers from the Steering Committee for the Restoration of the Botanic garden.

The discussion was held behind closed doors and lasted for more than an hour.

And the winner is…

The winning design, in which the jury saw the true visual identity of the future Botanical garden, was chosen with a unanimous decision. Its author is Veneta Gergova.

Veneta Gergova graduated from the National Academy of Art, specialty Book, and Printed Graphics. She has 14 years of experience as an illustrator and graphic designer for the national newspaper 24 Chasa and Media Group Bulgaria.

The winner’s name and design were announced during the solemn graduation ceremony of the Agricultural University 2018 alumni, which took place on December 13, 2018, at the University premises. Speedflow Bulgaria CEO Vlad Ellis invited Veneta Gergova on stage and together with the Rector Prof. Dr. Hristina Yancheva awarded Veneta a Certificate for Best Design in The name and logo competition for the Botanic garden in Plovdiv.

During the official ceremony, 661 graduates of the Agricultural University-Plovdiv received their diplomas and celebrated together the good results they had achieved in the years of their studies. Among the guests was Mrs. Karina Angelieva, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, who received a degree honoris causa for “Outstanding Achievements in the Development of the Internationalization and Boosting the Prestige of the Agricultural University – Plovdiv in Europe”.

We would like to cordially thank Veneta Gergova, Agricultural University – Plovdiv, the members of the jury and the organizers of the competition. We truly believe that from now on the park will get the much-needed recognition and popularity it deserves.

We wish all participants in the contest success and many professional achievements. Do not stop creating and evolving. You have great talent!

We, on the other hand, will continue to organize other creative initiatives to support the restoration of the Botanical Garden in 2019. Join the Botanical Garden group on Facebook and regularly follow our blog for up-to-date information, new contests, and interesting events.

In Focus: Dental clinic Diamond Dent with a new website from Speedflow Bulgaria https://speedflow.bg/en/diamond-dent-clinic-new-website/ https://speedflow.bg/en/diamond-dent-clinic-new-website/#respond Fri, 09 Nov 2018 14:35:01 +0000 https://speedflow.bg/?p=14165

Diamond Dent Clinic has a proven experience in the field of dentistry and offers first-class dental services to its patients. The medical center needed a new and modern website to use as a Sales Funnel and at the same time as an informational web portal for the visitors. They teamed with Speedflow Bulgaria to create a successful and valuable online resource project.

Our experienced developers and designers developed a website with a fresh new user-friendly interface. The intuitive navigation provides users quick and easy access to all the important information they might need – from the services being offered at the clinic, the different stages and methods of treatment to the latest practices and advanced technologies used in the field of dentistry. The Diamond Dent site is developed in several languages and all photo and graphic images are created and edited by the Speedflow Bulgaria experts.

The most important thing for our team when starting a new project is to get a better understanding of our client’s needs and goals. And only then to continue with the wireframe. If a website does not have a good navigation and intuitive interface, it would not engage users and attract their attention long enough to make conversions. The modern layout and the web design features used in the Diamond Dent project are in complete accordance with the standards of their brand identity, accentuate the high-quality of their services and the professionalism of the entire medical team. At Diamond Dent patients get beautiful and healthy smiles, and now you can find the Clinic professionals online too.

If you need website development, graphic design, photography services or anything else related to your digital project, do not hesitate to contact us at info@speedflow.bg. Take a look at the Portfolio section of our website to learn more about other successfully completed projects of ours.

Speedflow Bulgaria joined the Restoration Project of the Great Basilica in Plovdiv https://speedflow.bg/en/speedflow-bulgaria-restoration-great-basilica-plovdiv/ https://speedflow.bg/en/speedflow-bulgaria-restoration-great-basilica-plovdiv/#respond Thu, 25 Oct 2018 18:16:16 +0000 https://speedflow.bg/?p=14213

Speedflow Bulgaria is thrilled to announce that we are now officially part of the restoration project of the Great Bishop’s Basilica of Philippopolis. Our team donated to the first initiative of the Friends of the Basilica Foundation called “Adopt a bird”.

The Great Basilica of Plovdiv is the biggest early-Christian temple discovered in the territory of Bulgaria until this moment. It is a unique cultural and historical monument not only for the city of Plovdiv but also for Bulgaria and the world, that is part of the UNESCO Tentative List of significant cultural and natural sites in Bulgaria. Its restoration began in 2015. Since then, Plovdiv Municipality, different organizations, companies, citizens and donors have been actively working together to preserve and restore the historical phenomenon and its impressive Roman mosaics.

The idea of the Foundation and the “Adopt a Bird” campaign is to turn the Bishop’s Basilica into an attractive historical museum and cultural center – a meeting point for people of all ages, from Bulgaria and abroad, that offers plenty of activities and varied cultural program. The complex will open doors at the end of 2019 when Plovdiv will be the European Capital of Culture.

We from Speedflow Bulgaria are extremely happy and proud to be able to be part of such an important and valuable cause. The restoration of the Great Basilica is an amazing project, beneficial to the generations to come, to our cultural heritage and history. We are glad that our team has the opportunity to contribute to the revival of this site and the popularization of Plovdiv around the world.

Enhancing urban spaces has always been a top priority for Speedflow Bulgaria as a socially responsible company. The restoration of the Great Basilica is not the only project we support. Since 2017, our team has been actively involved in the Restoration of the former Botanical Garden in Plovdiv, and now, together with Agrarian University-Plovdiv, we organize a name and logo competition to establish the visual identity of the future recreational area.

Teach for Bulgaria is transforming Bulgarian Education https://speedflow.bg/en/teach-for-bulgaria-transforming-bulgarian-education/ https://speedflow.bg/en/teach-for-bulgaria-transforming-bulgarian-education/#respond Mon, 08 Oct 2018 10:34:30 +0000 https://speedflow.bg/?p=13870

We at Speedflow Bulgaria love challenging projects, especially when there are noble or social causes behind them. The last web development project we did for the nongovernmental organization Teach for Bulgaria was definitely one of them.

About the organization

Teach for Bulgaria is part of the global network Teach for All and was established in 2010 with the support of America for Bulgaria Foundation. Ever since Teach for Bulgaria has been actively involved and passionately fighting to provide equal access to quality education for children in Bulgaria that belong to disadvantaged groups. For that purpose, young professionals from different spheres of expertise undergo a special selection process and extensive trainings which prepare them to become teachers in schools that need the most support. The program lasts for two years and is currently implemented in 11 regions – Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Lovech, Vratsa, and more. More than 260 people have successfully completed the program and are continuing to play an important role in transforming and improving the quality of education in Bulgaria. It is not a surprise that Teach for Bulgaria just got two first places in the national Employer of the Year Award in the categories “Best Training Program” and “Best Career Development Program”.

About the project

The constantly growing Teach for Bulgaria community and its positive contributions to the whole educational system have led them to reconsider and change their digital image. The new one needed to reflect and highlight the mission, values, and vision of the organization. Our team was happy to create a website that provides the optimal user experience. The improved architecture and the new more efficient navigation structure gives user quick and easy access to the needed information. We also processed and optimized a large amount of text to further boost the intuitive web design.

If you want your web project to be completed on time, do not hesitate to contact us at info@speedflow.bg. We will be happy to help you at every stage of development – from planning to support.

The Name and Logo Competition for the Botanic Garden in Plovdiv is ON! https://speedflow.bg/en/name-logo-competition-botanic-garden-plovdiv/ https://speedflow.bg/en/name-logo-competition-botanic-garden-plovdiv/#respond Tue, 02 Oct 2018 11:50:27 +0000 https://speedflow.bg/?p=13814

We are so happy to announce that together with Agricultural University–Plovdiv Speedflow Bulgaria is organizing a Name and Logo Competition for the University Botanic garden in Plovdiv.

Since 2017, our team has been actively involved in the Botanic garden renovation project. We are so excited that this special place will finally get its visual identity.

Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry

1. About the Botanic garden

The Botanic garden in Plovdiv was founded in 1950 on an area of 250 decares. It is the third botanical garden in Bulgaria and the first one built outside Sofia. Through the years, its size has been reduced several times and now it spreads over 113,504 decares. Unfortunately, all research, development and maintenance activities ceased completely after 1990. Currently, the park is in a terrible condition. The whole area keeps on deteriorating although it is home to rare plants and trees.

There have been several attempts to revive the Botanic garden over the years, but no substantial results were achieved. Until 2017! Then, thanks to the joint efforts of Agricultural University-Plovdiv, Plovdiv Municipality, District “Trakia” and benevolent citizens the Steering Committee for the Restoration of the Botanic garden was established. Its proactive board organized more than 15 cleaning events, green initiatives for children and adults, and a big drawing competition on the topic “My Botanic garden”.

The determination and enthusiasm of Plovdiv residents to bring back to life the former Botanic garden is growing even stronger. The joint efforts of all participants have brought many positive results:

  • Over 1500 sq.m. was cleaned
  • Hundreds of trash bags were thrown away
  • A garden with over 1000 crocuses was planted
  • 30 birdhouses were built
  • Illegal constructions were demolished
  • A request for tenders to build a new fence has been initiated

So, here we are, a year later! Our team believes that the time has come for the Botanic garden to get a beautiful name and an impressive logo.

2. General guidelines

By organizing the Name and Logo competition we would like to attract more followers to this noble cause – supporters, environmentalists, friends, specialists, sponsors, contributors, plant lovers, etc. with whom to join forces and complete the project for the restoration of the Botanic garden. We do hope that in time it will become a well-known park and a favorite recreation area not only for Plovdiv citizens but also for foreigners.

3. Name and logo specifications

Both the name and the logo must convey the right messages and provoke associations and emotions related to botanic gardens and the preservation of the flora in Bulgaria and the world. They must be positive, attractive, and express one’s love for nature in general.
The design of the logo should be original work and must not resemble or copy another existing logo. It must not contain distinctive elements or initials of the author. It should illustrate and express the concepts of the Botanic garden and provide the necessary recognition.
The name should not be taken/under special patents and be available for use. It is advisable to create a unique font or use one that is not copyrighted (e.g. open source)
Each designer can decide for themselves if they would incorporate the name in the logo or not.

4. Eligibility

The Name & Logo competition is open to both Bulgarian and foreign artists. Designers can apply individually or as a creative team. There are no age restrictions. Each participant has the right to submit up to three different creative concepts.

5. Deadlines

Start of the competition: 01.10.2018
Submission deadline: 10.12.2018
Winner announcement: middle of December 2018

6. Submission requirements

  1. Color, monochrome, positive and negative versions in JPG format (1500×1500)
  2. Two language versions of the design – in Latin and Cyrillic
  3. One page description of your ideas
  4. Brand book (PDF)
  5. Branding mockups
  6. Your resume
  7. Contact details: name, phone number, and email

Please, submit your entries to garden@speedflow.bg no later than December 10.

7. Judging

Firstly, there will be a public voting. It will determine the 10 best works that will go to the final stage of the competition. The winning design will be selected by an independent jury consisting of the competition organizers.

8. Prize

The author of the best name and logo will get a prize of 1000 leva.

9. Copyrights

The winner agrees to present the winning design along with all work files to the Botanic Garden, transferring all copyrights to the Agricultural University–Plovdiv.

If you are full of creative ideas, genuinely love nature and are feeling inspired by the Bulgarian flora, we are looking forward to receiving your concepts at garden@speedflow.bg no later than December 10.

Speedflow Bulgaria team and Agricultural University–Plovdiv wish lots of success to all participants!

Speedflow Bulgaria organized another successful event about the initiative for the Botanical Garden in Plovdiv https://speedflow.bg/en/initiative-botanical-garden-plovdiv/ https://speedflow.bg/en/initiative-botanical-garden-plovdiv/#respond Tue, 18 Sep 2018 10:47:33 +0000 https://speedflow.bg/?p=13901

Speedflow Bulgaria team took part in the national campaign “Let’s clean Bulgaria together” by organizing the two-day green initiative “Plant a Flower – Save the Botanical Garden of Plovdiv” together with Plovdiv Municipality, district “Trakia” and Agricultural University Plovdiv.

About the event

The event took place on 15-16 September at the former Botanical Garden of Plovdiv and gathered together more than 50 volunteers from Bulgaria and abroad. Together we managed to clean a big area, removed lots of trash and planted nearly 1,000 crocuses. We are looking forward to seeing this beautiful garden blossom in the spring.

On behalf of the Steering Committee for the Restoration of the Botanic garden, we would like to thank all volunteers who spent a few hours of their precious time and joined our green initiative. We also would like to say special “Thank you” to Kostadin Dimitrov, the Mayor of district “Trakia”, who constantly supports our initiatives, organizes the waste collection and transport. This time he came on site and joined our team, setting a good example for the whole community.

Our role

Since 2017 Speedflow Bulgaria Green Squad has been actively involved in the organization of cleaning events at the Botanic garden. Thanks to the joint efforts of institutions and citizens, we managed to achieve lots of positive results. Up until this present moment, together we have cleaned an area of over 1500 square meters; have thrown away hundreds of trash bags; demolished several illegal buildings in the park, and now Agricultural University Plovdiv, which manages the territory, will choose a tender who is going to build a new fence around the Botanical Garden. This is the most important step in order to protect the park from further pollution, development of illegal activities and nuisance. It will also speed the processes related to its general preservation and restoration plan.

Also, visit the YouTube channel related to the initiative here and learn more.

Take part in the next event!

We are very happy that we can contribute to this good cause, to help Plovdiv bring back to life it Botanic garden and preserve the Bulgarian flora heritage.
