Two new companies have gone under the knife of Speedflow Bulgaria’s web development team—Bulgarian building company S.E. Stroy and the Association for Breeding Lacaune Sheep in Bulgaria.

S.E. Stroy provides specialized services in project planning, construction and maintenance of electrical, water and sanitation installations for residential, public and industrial facilities. Fire alarm systems, smart homes, thermal imaging for tracing water damage and leak detection are just a few of the services that the company has provided to dozens of satisfied customers.

They approached us with a request for us to rejuvenate and optimize their old website to improve their search engine ranking and refresh their online presence. With this in mind, our programmers integrated new graphic elements into the existing database and optimized the content and code. The job took about a week.

North Macedonian laboratory FoodLab, which specializes in food and beverages check-ups, is the proud owner of a new and modern website made by Speedflow Bulgaria. The laboratory will now have an extra channel to showcase its selection of tests and types of food and beverages tested.

 

About the project:

For a little bit less conversation—a period of around 20 days—we unfolded a fluid, up-to-date website with the name FoodLab on top. We would like to direct your attention to three aspects of this web development project:

• Web design
• Content management system
• Optimization

After a friendly chat with our clients, we came to the conclusion that the design should be in line with the following:

• Our client’s mission
• The language requirements of their target audience
• Our client’s wishes to have more direct contact with their clients

We selected a blend of dark blue/purple (header), green and white. We also highlighted the North Macedonian text in green—to differentiate from the English one—and left enough white space to make the website look clean and clear.

The overall idea was to underline the laboratory’s mission towards healthier food and beverages.

 

 

For this project, we used WordPress. This content management system gives FoodLab admins the freedom to update the inventory of the tests offered and the types of food tested at will. Additionally, FoodLab can choose to create new pages—and fill them with content—without having to rely on professional web developers.

Finally, on the optimization front, our experts dug deep to squeeze every weed out of the code and content. Everything you see on the website is cut down to a minimum size, and as a result, the site is light and fast. This places it in an ideal position to be ranked well in the search engines.

 

 

The project’s final brushes

They were accompanied by our prescribed belly tickles and bubbly giggles and followed by a quickly-descending dome of mildly weird conversations. In other words, our team opened a bottle of wine.

Teach for Bulgaria is part of the global network Teach for All and was established in 2010 with the support of America for Bulgaria Foundation. Ever since Teach for Bulgaria has been actively involved and passionately fighting to provide equal access to quality education for children in Bulgaria that belong to disadvantaged groups. For that purpose, young professionals from different spheres of expertise undergo a special selection process and extensive trainings which prepare them to become teachers in schools that need the most support. The program lasts for two years and is currently implemented in 11 regions – Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Lovech, Vratsa, and more. More than 260 people have successfully completed the program and are continuing to play an important role in transforming and improving the quality of education in Bulgaria. It is not a surprise that Teach for Bulgaria just got two first places in the national Employer of the Year Award in the categories “Best Training Program” and “Best Career Development Program”.

Speedflow Bulgaria team added yet another successfully finished project to the portfolio. This time our client was one of the best rehabilitation and revitalization medical institutions in Switzerland – Leukerbad Clinic. It is situated at an altitude of 1400 m in the heart of the Alps and is surrounded by a picturesque scenery and natural mineral hot springs. Established back in 1961, the Leukerbad Clinic quickly earned an outstanding reputation because of its effective programs in preventive medicine, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and high-class hotel services. At the moment its team consists of more than 110 medical professionals specialized in physiotherapy, nutritionally, psychology, radiology, sports medicine, and more.

The major renovation work that took place at the clinic premises after 2012 is the main reason for the so needed update of its online presence and digital marketing strategy. Our clients wanted their new website to be in line with the revamped atmosphere and facilities of the clinic.
